If you’re super fed up with western food creations, it’s time to return to our roots. No one makes local food like Singaporeans! If you’re looking for a super traditional food immersion, this may not be the best list for you. However, if you’re on the fence about traditional food and new fusion food, then read on!

Booth A14This stall reminds us of those desserts stalls at canteens because they sell comfort-desserts (like comfort food, but desserts). They’ve got chewy and plump mochi filled with red bean paste in their rendition of Chendol. Sounds so good!  Kori Bowl also sells interesting drinks like the Coconut Mojito! Beat the heat and get a mojito in your hands, people.

6. Mkuking

While their staple may be the Katok Kotak, Mee Bandung Muar,  Krusty Katok, don’t be surprised if they’re serving up crazier dishes! They’re known for trying new dishes. Just check out their Instagram page and you’ll understand what we mean.

This Katok in Coconut Shell is a seriously brilliant idea.

Warning: Will make you want one immediately.https://www.instagram.com/p/BksF95IHtMc/?taken-by=kavacoffees
