This 28 November to 5 December 2017, halalfoodhunt.com is participating in #GivingWeekSG where 11 merchants listed on halalfoodhunt.com will be submitting 40-80% of proceeds of the dish to charity. Giving Week is a national movement that encourages everyone to give back. Find out more about Giving Week here.
All you have to do is purchase a Giving Dish (choose from 11 halal restaurants) and you help them get an equal footing for school through free enrichment programmes and learning journeys to help them develop speech and cognitive abilities which they otherwise will not be able to afford.

Proceeds from the dishes will go to Literacy Initiative for Equity (LIFE). LIFE is a voluntary, and non-profit organisation reaching out to pockets of society that established organisations may have missed out. LIFE aims to support underprivileged children by equipping them with tools and a fair opportunity at achieving success.
Joining our merchants in this initiative, halalfoodhunt.com will be providing a complimentary video coverage for our merchants of the dish and the restaurant. If you need to collect more rewards or karma points on this Earth, or just want to restore your faith in humanity, choose to eat at these places (they’re all permissible for Muslims to eat at).
Digitising the “Coupon Amal” concept
Based on feedback from last year’s campaign, Halalfoodhunt will be taking the concept of ‘Coupon Amal’ which is familiar to the Malay community and digitise this concept, making Giving easier.
Head to Givingdish.Halalfoodhunt.com to browse through the dishes and purchase dishes during Giving Week itself from 28 November to 5 December 2017. Halalfoodhunt will then send the vouchers to the the Givers on 5 December onwards for Givers to bring to the restaurants and claim their Giving Dish by 28 February 2018.
