2. Beef bro Singapore
You’ve seen them at their pop-up booths, well get a hold of Beef Bro’s famous blowtorch-grilled beef cubes all you want any day at their 3 outlets! Of course, you gotta get their signature beef cubes that comes in amazing flavours such as their Mala Beef Cubes and Cheese Mentaiko Beef Cubes (omg???). The meat is so succulent, and Beef Bro’s amazing Mentaiko sauce really goes well with the beef. If you didn’t know, you can add their signature sambal belacan to to go with your beef cubes — and best believe it actually tastes really well together!
Beef Bro serves so much more than just their beef cubes though! Check out their menu that features their best seller Aglio Olio and Grilled Salmon, Mentaiko Scallops (which we absolutely love, rated 5/5 #RavingReviews!), Seafood Bento, and so much more. Don’t miss The Meat Guys when they’re around! They are only available at pop-up booths and have served at events such as ARTBOX, Celebfest, Twilight, and more. We visited their booth at Twilight Feast last year and had an exclusive behind-the-scenes look on them preparing our Lamb Ribs. This dish comes with Raita sauce and potato balls with laksa cream sauce, but Jums personally preferred the ribs on her own. We also tried their Ribeye Slices and Chicken Sliders and the Ribeye Slices, served with peppercorn sauce and the potato balls with laksa cream sauces, truly earned the #RavingReviews title! 🤩 We actually went back to their booth to get more, especially of the potato balls that were so addictive! Yet again another win for the Tampines homies! 😂 Formerly known as Carnivori at pasar malams, Toko has made their irresistible Halal burgers and cheesesteaks more accessible at their outlet at Tampines Hub. Grab a bite, and another, and another one, of their highly demanded cheesesteaks such as The Cancun and The Philly (their own rendition of the famous Philly Cheesesteak). Just looking at these cheesy goodness got our stomachs rumbling already 🤤 Try out Toko’s fantastic burgers as well which includes their signature beef burger, Cowboy Burger, and The Eggstra.
Did you know that Toko also offers a plant-based burger as well? Their Impossible Toko features elements of their signature Toko burger with an Impossible Foods patty for a delicious, vegeterian-friendly burger (not vegan due to the mayonnaise sauce included).
