The economy may be down this year, and there’s much gloom coming from the political side, but here is always something all foodies can do to restore faith in humanity! Participate in Giving Week by eating and giving. This 29 November to 5 December 2016, halalfoodhunt.com is participating in #GivingWeek where merchants listed on halalfoodhunt.com will be submitting a dish to charity. Giving Week is a national movement that encourages everyone to give back.
When you buy these dishes, the proceeds go to…
Proceeds from the dishes will go to either Project Goodwill Aid or Literacy Initiative for Equity (LIFE). Project Goodwill Aid is Project Goodwill Aid (PGA) is a self-volunteer group consisting of like-minded individuals who give back to the society. They go door-to-door of rental houses to reach out to people who are suffering behind closed doors, helping especially the low income families & old folks living alone. LIFE is a newly established voluntary, and non-profit organisation reaching out to pockets of society that established organisations may have missed out. LIFE aims to support underprivileged children by equipping them with tools and a fair opportunity at achieving success. Joining our merchants in this initiative, halalfoodhunt.com will be providing a complimentary video coverage for our merchants of the dish and the restaurant.
If you need to collect more rewards or karma points on this Earth, or just want to restore your faith in humanity, choose to eat at these places (they’re all permissible for Muslims to eat at).
