Before you try the cakes, you probably will be eating with your eyes when you visit Lynn’s Cakes at Twilight! They specialise in customise cakes, but their selection of flavours will leave you spoilt for choice! How do you know that their cakes are good? More than half their cakes are gone just 5 hours into the event!

The secret to Salted Egg Chicks is in the sauce. The sauce is rich, thick, and extremely intense. It might give you a sensory overload if you pick the spicy version. No matter what you order from this stall, don’t forget to walk away with their Salted Egg Sauce!

(7) Food Pick: Takoyaki!
When you visit JP Kitchen, you get this feeling that they have been in their trade for a very very long time. This made me really curious to know what the food from this humble looking stall tasted like. When I asked them what’s the best thing on their menu, they said that I should give their Takoyaki a try. Their takoyaki is served in a deep deep bowl, it’s huge, and pretty crunchy on the outside. Just look at the amount of bonito flakes that comes with every bowl! Doesn’t that just look like the kind of food you would want to be digging into when you’re chilling at the picnic area watching movies?

(8) The FANTASTIC performances and stage programming!
This year, halalfoodhunt is located right behind the picnic and chill area, and we’re enjoying the best views of the stage and the programmes that is in store for Twilight Tropicana! So far, the movies have been fantastic, and so have the stage performers and the sets that they perform. There’s no official programme, but if the quality of the performers for the rest of the weekend is as good as what we have just seen in the past 5 hours, then you might want to come early tomorrow and chope yourself a nice table and beanbag at the picnic area for chilling with your family!

(9) Shopping… Shopping.. Shopping!
When my stomach was full from all the eating, I figured that I needed to walk off all the calories. I love what I saw when I walked around! There are pretty pretty soaps for sale. Handmade goods like accessories, bags and even clothes! The Batik Selections here are awesome too!
You know what’s the best part? There is a fair selection of goods for the kiddos too! Even I couldn’t resist the pretty pretty bottles of slime!
