Halalfoodhunt is happy to announce that we have concluded one of our recent campaigns: Muffin Drive for Healthcare Frontliners! ✨🎉 This project is done in collaboration with AJ Delights Pte Ltd – our favourite place for halal certified muffins in Singapore!
The Muffin Drive project was aimed to send some cheer, love, and encouragement from the community to our healthcare heroes who have been battling endlessly during this COVID-19 pandemic. With a box of muffins, and a word of blessings, we wish to remind them that we are with them during this tough time. For this project, Halalfoodhunt collaborated with AJ Delights who were behind all the lovely muffins 🧡
We ran the campaign from 11 May to 15 June this year, successfully raising 2,436 muffin packs. Our team decided to top up the muffin pack contributions to a round figure of 2,500 muffins, where we then planned the distribution from there. Prior to this, we received the green light from 7 hospitals (nearby for delivery from AJ Delights) that we had wrote in to, who expressed their interests in being part of our campaign.
Each hospital would be receiving 288 care packages from the collective contributors that had opted not to direct their contributions to a specific hospital. Contributors that had opted to direct their care packages to a specific hospital instead were then added on top of this base number. Below is the breakdown of the number of care packages each hospital would be receiving, along with the respective date of delivery:
Alexandra Hospital – 306 (16 July 2020)
National University Hospital – 439 (24 July 2020)
Singapore General Hospital – 335 (23 July 2020)
Changi General Hospital – 446 (15 July 2020)
Khoo Teck Puat Hospital – 370 (29 July 2020)
Ng Teng Fong General Hospital – 316 (21 July 2020)
Sengkang General Hospital – 288 (28 July 2020)
