We’ve just recovered from spending the entire weekend at Celebfest: Rentak Raya by Rosevalley and we were impressed with what went down!

Celebfest is one of Rosevalley’s Signature events since they started their journey in organising events in 2017. Every event by Rosevalley has a different theme, appealing to different crowds and target consumers, while consistently ensuring that all food sold at their events are halal. Since then, Rosevalley has garnered many strategic partnerships – one of which, halalfoodhunt – contributing to familiarity and loyal attendance from the halal food community in Singapore.

Here’s a peek of what went down last weekend.

The largest rendition of Celebfest to date

This year’s Ramadhan edition of Celebfest presented a whopping with a 300 brands to the delight of the attendees who came to shop, eat and meet their favourite stars. These brands included brands for apparel, brands by local and Malaysian celebrities, and most important for us – local halal food brands that have grown in the hearts (and tummies) of local halal food consumers.

Did we mention that this year’s Celebfest had the largest number of A-list Celebrities in one place?

With key celebrity interviews that included Syafiq Kyle, Ayra Rosli and Jihan Muse, along with performances by Siti Nordiana and Nabila Razali, Rosevalley pulled their largest event crowd to date.

Growing local brands had their own pull factor

The star-studded appeal of the event could be seen and felt just by walking the halls 401-403 of Suntec City last weekend. It was more than the fact that there were celebrities walking amongst the crowd – it was also the familiarity of the crowd with local brands.

In the spirit of celebrity recognition, our media team interviewed random event attendees asking them for the brand names that they came for. We were pleasantly surprised that the names of local brands like Adlina Anis, Ukhti Couture, Adriyana Yariqa and Sweetrose Couture came up just as often as the famous personalities anchoring the stage and event.

The curation of the brands at Celebfest also contributed to the phenomenal success of Celebfest: Rentak Raya. Each of the local brands had their own crowd coming for them too! Local apparel brands, food brands, as well as local celebrity names were frequently mentioned together with Malaysian Celebrity names among those we interviewed. The result? A phenomenal shopping experience for attendees who were ready to shop for (almost) everything needed for Raya.

Familiar food brands make up loyal following for Rosevalley Events

As with every other major Rosevalley event in 2019, halalfoodhunt’s role as Food Media partner is to be the main food guide for event attendees. Local food brands that participate in events by Rosevalley are featured on halalfoodhunt’s social media channels.

Interviewees on our video were able to recall local food brands that have been consistently participating in Rosevalley events – proving that the local halal Pop-up food brands are having an increased level of recognition from the public leading to their own increased crowd-pulling power.

So, what’s Next?

The next upcoming event by Rosevalley promises an equally star-studded affair – though in a different genre and theme. Formerly known as The Grand Bazaar, this event takes place on the final weekend of Ramadan where two things usually happen – spiritual enlightenment and last minute Hari Raya shopping!

Expect an Islamic-themed event with the likes Nasyid performances, arabic-themed activities and sharing sessions with our popular local asatizah. We’re not releasing any names in this article – so follow @thegrandsouqsg for updates!

Following The Grand Souq, if you’re ready for more of Celebfest, bookings for booths for 2 more renditions of Celebfest are already open! The team at Rosevalley doesn’t rest. E-mail them at even[email protected] for booth bookings for their upcoming events!
