This one is for those that have been following us for many years!
We often receive emails about the recipe videos we used to do, and that you guys want the recipes for it, and are not able to find it ever since we re-branded and re-purposed Halalfoodhunt.
The most requested recipe on our emails and DMs is this Cornflakes Meringue Recipe. We’re putting it back up here upon demand, just for easy reference. Enjoy!
SERVES 50 PIECES
- 3 Pieces Eggs
- 240 Grams Chocolate Chips
- 200 Grams Icing Sugar
- 150 Grams Cornflakes
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 1 Teaspoon Cream of Tar Tar
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius.
Separate egg whites and age it for 2 days
Whip egg whites till bubbly.
Gradually add in icing sugar into the egg white, then add in vanilla and cream of tar tar.
Continue to whip until stiff peaks.
Mix half of the egg white mixture to half of the cornflakes. Mix well.
Divide the cornflake and egg white mixture into small baking cups.
Bake at 160 deg for the first ten minutes, then bring down the oven temperature to 130 deg and bake for a further 30 minutes. Bake until the top of the cookie is dry.
Do the same for the rest of the egg white and cornflakes. Do not mix all the cornflakes and egg white together as this will lead to the cornflakes losing its crunchiness.
